What FlexSalon is
FlexSalon is a free noticeboard that connects salons with a free spot and independent beauty professionals. FlexSalon is not a party to the agreements that salons and professionals make with each other: not a landlord, not a broker, not an employer.
Applications and contact
Contact details and exact addresses are not public. An interested person first sends an application with their profile and preferences to the listing owner. Only after acceptance does FlexSalon send the owner's contact details and, for a salon spot, the submitted address to the applicant. Acceptance only permits contact and is not a guarantee, reservation or agreement.
Your listing
- You only post accurate information about a real spot or a real request.
- You have the right to offer the spot you advertise.
- No duplicate, misleading or commercial listings unrelated to salon spots.
- We may refuse or remove listings without stating a reason (e.g. on suspicion of abuse).
Agreements between salon and professional
Price, days, notice period, access, equipment, hygiene, insurance and all other arrangements are agreed directly between you. Put the arrangements in writing. The free model chair-rental agreement is a starting point, not individual legal or tax advice.
Reports and moderation
Each listing can be reported for incorrect information, unavailability, suspected fraud or an unsafe situation. We normally review reports within two business days. Where there is a credible risk, we may hide the listing during review, request evidence, issue warnings or block the listing and account. Repeated abuse of the reporting mechanism may itself be restricted.
Independence, tax and insurance
The salon and professional are responsible for checking registrations, permits, professional and public-liability insurance, VAT, taxes and social contributions. An agreement must not conceal an actual employment relationship. The parties remain responsible for sufficient independence in schedules, pricing, clients, working methods and entrepreneurial risk.
Liability
We do our best to keep the site available and the content correct, but give no guarantees. FlexSalon is not liable for damage arising from contact or agreements between users, or from temporary unavailability of the site.
Startfase
FlexSalon is in a launch phase: posting is free and features may change. If paid options ever appear, that will never apply retroactively to existing listings.
Applicable law
Belgian law applies to the use of FlexSalon. Mandatory consumer rights and statutory jurisdiction rules remain fully applicable.
